ABOUT NEWTOWNCUNNINGHAM & KILLEA PARISH

Committed to Spiritual Enlightenment

Welcome to the website of Newtowncunningham & Killea Parish (RC), Diocese of Raphoe. Our vibrant parish is home to approximately 800 families and encompasses the villages of Newtowncunningham and Killea, as well as the surrounding area. We are proud to have two beautiful churches in our community: the Church of All Saints, Newtowncunningham, which was built in 1999, and the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Killea, which was built in 1954.

Whether you are a long-time member of our parish or a newcomer to the area, we extend a warm welcome to you. And if you are a former resident now living far away, we invite you to stay connected to our community through this website. Our goal is to make this site a valuable resource for all, providing information on our parish, our services, and our many community events.

As we continue to develop this site, we welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can make it even more useful to you. Thank you for visiting, and we hope to see you again soon.

eucharistic adoration

All are welcome to come and spend as much time as they
wish in Adoration, but thank you to all those who have committed to fulfil a specific hour each week, though more adorers are needed. We will hold the Adoration from now on in our Queen of All Saints Oratory (behind the main Altar). It is a smaller, more intimate space and will be warmer for those who come to Silently Adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. In the Spring time we will be looking at changes to the times and number of Adorers for Friday Adoration in Killea.
